Overview
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain the cloud-native infrastructure powering mission-critical applications across classified environments.
Responsibilities
Design and operate Kubernetes clusters across IL4/IL5 classified environments on AWS GovCloud
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, ArgoCD, and Flux for continuous deployment
Implement infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Helm for repeatable, auditable provisioning
Collaborate with product teams to define SLOs, implement observability, and drive reliability improvements
Mentor junior engineers on cloud-native best practices and DevSecOps methodologies
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for production systems
Requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly preferred)
5+ years of experience with Kubernetes in production environments
Experience with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD or Flux)
Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling
CKA or CKS certification strongly preferred
Experience operating in DoD IL4/IL5 environments
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Compensation
$165,000 – $210,000 base salary, depending on experience and certifications. Full benefits including health, dental, 401(k) match, and annual training budget.
